Who We Are...

With over thousands of tea types out there, how can we brew them correctly to get that perfect balance in tea taste?

Rick Ha, a lifelong tea drinker with a PhD in Computer Engineering from University of Waterloo, Canada, set out to find a solution.

Taking inspiration from different methods of tea brewing, Rick envisioned a smart tea maker that can control the 4 key elements of tea brewing: temperature, time, water flow and tea leaf immersion. 

After 5 years of research, prototyping and product development, Rick and his team invented the patented AERO-BREW system and the Qi Aerista Smart Tea Brewer was born.
