Qi Aerista is founded by husband & wife team of Dr. Rick Ha and Karen Wan. Our mission is to help tea lovers make SMART & EASY PERFECT TEA so that we can BREW A BETTER WORLD TOGETHER.
Rick grew up in Hong Kong, a city vibrant with tea culture from the East & West. His childhood is haunted by the horrors of badly brewed tea that ruined family meals and other special occasions.
"What if there is a better way to prevent badly brewed tea from ruining the important moments of our lives?" Rick asked.
Our startup journey began in 2013, where we focused on developing an automatic tea making solution that makes it easy for anyone to brew any type of tea perfect to your taste every time.
Since our market launch in July 2018, we have shipped thousands of brewers and tea packages to over 60 countries.

WHAT IS QI AERISTA TEA?
Hello there! We are a Hong Kong based tea company founded in 2013 specialized in premium Chinese loose leaf teas. We are a group of tea fanatics that are always on the search for great tasting teas. Before our teas get into our shop, they underwent rounds of reviews including taste, aroma and appearance. These tests are led by Karen, our in-house tea specialist, also our co-founder. Karen is an accredited tea taster and tea artists.
WHAT MAKES YOUR TEA DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TEAS?
As you are already aware, we have a limited selection of teas. It's not because we like to keep a small stock (~hopefully that's not the case), it's because we only sell those teas that we enjoy ourselves and it is reasonable priced.
At the same time, we put food safety as our #1 priority. Our teas are freshly sourced from tea farms in China that practice biodynamic or organic farming. Our tea farmers care about their plantation and teas as much as we care about our cup of tea.
WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
We will try to fulfill your orders as soon as we received them. Our goal is to dispatch them no later than 2 2 working days after your order is placed. Shipping usually takes 10-30 days for standard delivery depending on where you are. Please be mindful of the potential additional shipping time during holidays or during unexpected events (e.g. strikes, natural disasters).
WHAT IS YOUR TEA CLUB CANCELLATION POLICY?
You can cancel your subscription any time before the next scheduled shipment of your Tea Club package.
For prepaid subscriptions, you can request a refund for any unused portions as calculated by the Prepaid Amount minus the Number of Delivered Tea Club times its Monthly Regular Price with Shipping. Additional refund processing fees may also apply.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase and delivery of your item (whichever is later), unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.
To be eligible for a full refund, your returned item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as tea, food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds maybe granted: any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.
All shipping costs are non-refundable.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first please check your bank or PayPal account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Price-reduced, discounted, sale or free shipping items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon delivery. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an email at email@example.com and confirm the shipping address and exchange procedures.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
To return your product, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and confirm the shipping address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping if paid by us in advance will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over US$75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
